was developed as a backing material for the reinforcing welded bar joint construction method by the Japan Reinforcing Bar Joints Institute (JRJI).<br \/>\nFirst, we will explain the JRJI reinforcing welded bar joint construction method.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row pb-2\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<h5>JRJI reinforcing welded bar joint construction method<\/h5>\n<p>\nThis welding method is officially called a torch shielding welding method using ceramic backing materials with aluminum sheets and windbreak hoods, which is one of the welding methods used for reinforcing bar joints. JRJI developed this method to improve further the convenience and workability of reinforcing welded bar joints and developing uniform technical standards and general construction methods amid the increasing complexity of management and concerns about the reliability of construction quality due to the recent diversification of the reinforcing welded bar joint methods.\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<h5>Features of the JRJI reinforcing welded bar joint construction method<\/h5>\n<p>\n&#8211; Feature 1<br \/>\nProvides a combination of a nozzle and a contact chip protruding about 10 to 25 mm to prevent a reduction of electric current and voltage due to the wire stretched too much during welding.<br \/>\n&#8211; Feature 2<br \/>\nEnables easy preparation for welding and post-work processing by using ceramic backing materials with aluminum sheets, Barpita\u00ae series.<br \/>\n&#8211; Feature 3<br \/>\nPrevents winds up to 6 m\/s by using exclusive windbreak hoods and stores shield gas in the hoods and welds, ensuring sound welding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"youtube2\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"711\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_5SDWlcSlTQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"\/ja\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/sunouchi_catalog_white_2020feb_ceramicbackup_6.pdf#view=Fit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/btn_catalog.jpg\" class=\"d-block mx-auto\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"veu_flowBox\">\n<dl>\n<dt>Work procedure<\/dt>\n<dd>Cut the material to the length of the desired diameter, peel off the release paper, and wrap the material around the reinforcing bar. The length should cover approximately half of the bar diameter. After that, mount a exclusive windbreak hood and perform welding.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-3 text-center\">(Fig.1)<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/ja\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/tekkin_fig01.jpg\" class=\" mb-1\"><br \/><strong>Attaching the backing material<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-left\">\nIn this photograph, the release paper is released, and the backing material is attached to the reinforcement.
